The Rhodesian Ridgeback Welfare Trust
We, sadly, have a constant flow of Ridgebacks either with us or arriving soon in need of new homes. If you are interested in adopting one, or more, of them and have not already registered with us

please download, complete, scan & return one of our Adoption Request Forms

We can then send you details of dogs that fit your criteria as and when they complete their assessment.

Although we continually place Ridgebacks in caring & loving homes, sadly others need our help so we await for your call

Stanley  - 12 yr old male

Stanley was found wandering the streets having been thrown out by his previous owner. fortunately the Rhodesian Ridgeback Welfare Trust was contacted by the local authorities dog warden.

We have been slowly rebuilding his diet and exercise regime.Apart from continuing this process carefully, his needs are few, amounting really to just a warm corner and some peace & quiet

Stanley has much improved during his time with us, but its unlikely he will ever fully recover the full muscle tone of his back & legs, so full mobility will be a bit of a challenge

Stanley has, following the advice of one of the Trusts supporters, a chemical castration implant. This has succesfully removed any issues we had regarding him being rehomed with another resident female dog. He is happy to just jog along with other dogs provided the distance is not huge
